Husky Tee Design Competition 2010

It's that time again-Time to Design! The Husky Pride Fund is looking for next year's Husky Tee and the winning design could be yours! Being a main facet of the Husky Pride Fund, this is kind of a big deal! The winning design will be chosen for print and sold in the University Book Store, in up to 4 locations, and the winner will receive a grand prize, TBD, as well as mega recognition for their winning entry = definite bragging rights!

Advocacy Day

Eric Shellan, assistant director of the ASUW Office of Government Relations, calls students into action during a rally on the Capitol Steps in Olympia. Nearly 250 students skipped class on February 5th for Higher Education Advocacy Day to gather in Olympia to discuss the future of our university with state legislators. The HUB 2.0

The HUB, originally built in 1949 currently has a total area of approximately 260,000 GSF. The primary facility users are student organizations and student governments (55%) and University departments (38%). During an average academic year, the HUB hosts over 4,300 meetings and events. In September 2008 the Board of Regents passed an allocation of Services and Activities Fee (SAF) funds to pay for the Preliminary and Schematic designs for a possible renovation of the HUB.
