board of directors
The ASUW Board of Directors is the final overseeing body of the Associated Students of the University of Washington. There are 12 seats on the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors has an "Administrative Assistant" that takes minutes at the meeting. These minutes are posted online along with all bills that we pass at http://records.asuw.org/
8 of the 12 seats are elected by the students at the end of each academic year:
- President
- Vice President
- Director of Diversity of Efforts
- Director of Operations
- Director of Organizational Relations
- Director of Programming
- Director of Faculty Administration and Academic Affairs
- Director of Community Relations
There are two hired seats on the Board of Directors. These seats are hired rather then elected because they are non-political positions.
